   The good aliens won't let the planet be fully destroyed, and it can rejuvenate itself, in time. We will never goes past the point of the capability for full rejuvenation. If such an event were to become possible, they would interfere on the sly, to make sure it doesn't happen. Also, humanity will never be fully wiped out; they have orders that some humans must survive.
