I have literally had visions of this for several years, maybe since childhood.
I see myself in a hospital room with dozens of beds lined up, I'm in there alone next to a,nurse and I'm dying.
I'm ready for this.

when the hospitals are out of capacity, when the resources are gone, when there aren't enough doctors, when there aren't enough oxygen tanks, when the system is overwhelmed, then even in the West, even in the USA, even in Switzerland, even in Finland, people could die en mass.
It's so bad in China because their healthcare system was already garbage, ill prepared, badly trained, unhygienic, and understaffed. They got inundated and now people are dying on the streets.
As long as the cases in the West remain low, everyone will be fine. Even if it gets into the thousands it will be fine. Tens of thousands it will be fine. But if it gets a lot higher than that? It will simply overwhelm the system and people that would NOT die with adequate care WILL die because they won't be able to receive care. -
