Cat 5, Cat 6, Cat 7 ethernet cables??? I just wanna plug in my computer and tv.

   All I am trying to do is free up my wifi by plugging a couple of things in with an ethernet cable.
   Is a cat 7 compatable with a cat female?
   WTF is the difference?
   Seriously just need a 5 or 6 foot cable to plug the tv in and maybe a 10 or 12 foot one for my computer.

   they're all compatible, just get cat5 unless you really need higher speeds
   
   I didn't even know cat7 was out, haven't seen anyone use it
