Getting out of getting pulled over

   A cop pulled me over once for going 42 in a 35, it was night time and as he was running my info a car fucking blew past us fast as fuck with no lights on whatsoever. The cop ran back to my car, practically threw my license back at me like "haveagoodnight" then hurried to his car to chase the other guy and i didn't get a ticket.

   that's a better story than him doing nothing (like in my case.. minuse no lights) and him saying. It's safer for everyone if I continue on writing your ticket.
