This might sound stupid, but lesbian comedians are pretty great. Why that is, I don't know. Sue Perkins, Sandi Toksvig, that nameless comedienne I saw at a comedy night a couple years back. All great.

Female comediennes have to deal with so much institutional sexism in order to get anywhere. Maybe if you weren't so prejudiced you would realise that sometimes laughter is second to the social justice function of the laughter. Therefore you should laugh the same whether you find a joke funny or not, as the only reason you don't find it funny is your prejudice

I try to like female standups I really do. Amy Joomer (was actually a playground taunt she was subjected to) has a few good jokes. That old asian lady is alright sometimes too. Margaret Cho that's her name. Tig Montaro is terrible tho but pulling out her mamosectomy titties on stage is pretty cool

I've noticed most of the rely on sexist themes, social themes or women's issue themes (such as being fat/pregnant etc). If a fat chick walks on stage at a comedy club you already know 95% of her set will be talking about being fat. If a lesbo type one walks on stage you know it's going to be some lesbo SJW bullshit that's coming.
..that's simply not funny and not comedy to me.

Yah I saw that Tig broad and it was maximum cringe the whole time. She was so bad that she used me in her set when I got up to go to the bathroom.

I gotta say Kate Olson from it's always sunny is a funny comedic actress because she plays someone who tries and fails to be funny. She also absorbs all the sexism and feeds off it and doesn't fight it. The episodes of the show where she does standup are funny af too. Rob Mcelhenny didn't know her before the show started and married her because he thought she was so funny. Then they named their first son Axel which is also pretty funny
