2019-07-05 at 4:17 AM UTCListening to "Shine on crazy diamond and about to watch the 4th of July fireworks on TV because I always get sinus problems and headaches around sulfur and fireworks.
we can also see them from the window in a small room we have here over looking the Golden Gate bridge and city of San Francisco from the hills.
but it's nice watching it on TV .. if the music they chose sucks we change it to something Progressive like Yes, Stix, Rush, Pink Floyd etc.. something in our own genre -

No it means that a user who signed up in Dec 2000 pointed out a week after 9/11 that there was never a textfile about hijacking planes and flying them into buildings, so removing the whole Bad Ideas section in an early post-9/11 panic was stupid and kind of pointless.

You probably don't realise how scared and paranoid people were after 911. Iirc someone got shot car shopping because someone else thought they were terrorists. Everyone had guns and flags were everywhere, there wasn't an American flag to be had in any store. Even the jedis allowed you to say whatever you wanted about Muslims.

Alls I'm saying is MS3FGX clearly thought deleting Bad Ideas was a bad idea, on account of nothing in the category actually relating directly to the world altering events that had unfolded a mere 8 days prior. Mine didn't and it was fucking awesome. It was a long show and just perfect.
Afterwards, traffic was bad, people were walking everywhere, and I made the mistake of staying in a line of traffic while on railroad tracks. As soon as I thought a train wouldn't come I hear "DING DING DING. .." and hear people saying "oh shit a train". I could see the guard rails coming down as backed out while manoeuvring pass the car behind me and I barely made. People actually cheered after. LOL
