Apple

Apple is tanking, and for good reason. New IPhones for the past couple of years (and tacitly for the last 4-5) have lost their zest, and I think Apple's magic factor is about done. New phones are barely better than the last generations besides gimmicky features. Apple is desperately lagging in the better hardware department, and their phone prices have jumped unreasonably to a point that deters too many Americans from jumping up to a slightly better phone.

They keep removing features that consumers want like headphone jacks among other things, and they aren't really making the People's Phone with the People in mind. The whole economy is feeling the brunt of their misfires, and I don't think Apple is able to catch up to their competitors with their current development strategy.

Why would you buy an IPhone or an Apple computer? Starbucks millenials can't afford the newer phones anymore.

weren't they forced to actually start paying EU taxes recently?

Trump's 'trade war' really isn't helping their bottom line either

I love apple pie so much more than I thought I would ever have made for myself as well as those from his own mouth that were being used to cut out the human body of the most interesting stuff that was made in Paris

At a certain point, the architect has to tell the occupants of his building what they should be seeking in a home. The consumer's taste isn't the gold standard, it's the lowest common denominator.

I mean fair enough that consumer preference is not infallible, but it's hard to see what exactly Apple is pushing onto consumers for their own good. Their design decisions of the last few years seem kind of all over the place. I guess the one unifying principle of design has been "make it thinner at all costs" but I'm not sure what consumer need that's supposed to serve, or really what need of anyone it's supposed to serve other than Apple's seemingly insatiable urge to sell overpriced aesthetically revolting dongles and peripherals.

I love my S8+, which is widely considered the best phone ever made. The S9 shoots way higher resolution (4k instead of 1080), but toher than that it actually took away some features and is slightly worse because of it.

Samsung seems to guve the consumers exactly what they want, and deserves every bit of praise they've earned.

What's up with Apple actually raising prices? It's super sleazy and not even how a cachet is created - people want quality items, they don't want an item that screams "sucker".

They get to use tariffs as an excuse to raise their prices far above what the tariffs actually do to their bottom line.

people who buy apple products dont buy them for their products, they buy them for their brand.

those who say this isnt true are lying to themselves.
