#1 is interesting, sounds like something from a Soviet Fallout 3.
#2 and #3 sound like a cross between and angle grinder and NSBM music (meaning groups such as Hate Forest, which are already pretty hard to listen to), and need more structure. -
2017-11-20 at 1:34 AM UTCMy favourite NS tracks are Rise of the Empire by Hunting Season, very much an orphan track

And I Caligula by Ex Deo, which the group seems to lean on

2017-11-20 at 2:23 AM UTCWhite people have no culture, that's why us coloreds have to give it to them, much like how black people taught those stanky ass white folks how to bathe. Just LOL at calling yourself the cradle of civilization.
-
2017-11-20 at 2:27 AM UTCWhites do in fact have a culture, but just like a fish in the water you can't see it because it's everywhere
-
2017-11-20 at 2:36 AM UTCImperialism is not culture.

2017-11-20 at 3:30 AM UTCI might even go back 10 years prior to Black Sabbath
to the 1960s. the band "LOVE" was very Gothic in its own essence. the singer is even Black (Arthur Lee). Maybe even Jim Morrison yet they formed after LOVE did. -
2017-11-20 at 3:56 AM UTCmy favorite goth band is strawberry switchblade

2017-11-20 at 3:57 AM UTCSisters of Mercy is the only one I really got into

dude that shit was awful, white power or not... you should listen to "the whitehouse" if you're actually into power electronics or
they were the first band I ever saw live 15 years ago -
2017-11-20 at 3:59 AM UTCWhitehouse isn't any easier to listen to than Genocide Organ and they're full-blown hardcore degenerates
EZ and other groups like that aren't much fun to listen to without the performance art component -

I dunno man I've always liked ez live and thru their albums because they have always changed up what they do. Their stuff circa 2003 was a lot more song oriented, but then again I like stuff like boris and suno))))) and fantomas
I saw a band while at work awhile back that was kind of like whitehouse and that nazi band, but they seemed kind of try hard and further from the source material

fuckin lol
sounds like that Finnish group, I can't remember their name but it was like 'carnival absurd' or something
they put out a video of the singer singing one of their songs while literally being shit on, and for a while people called it the most extreme act around
eventually it turned out that it had nothing to do with being 'extreme', the lead just liked being shit on -

Peter Murphy is the Godfather of Goth.. but even explored prior to him by Black Sabbath and such!Siouxsie and the Banshees were an English rock band, formed in London in 1976 by vocalist Siouxsie Sioux and bass guitarist Steven Severin. They have exerted a lasting and profound influence across many genres of modern music, including new wave, synth pop, gothic rock, alternative music, shoegazing and trip-hop, and have inspired a wide and diverse range of artists. Initially associated with the English punk rock scene, the band rapidly evolved to create "a form of post-punk discord full of daring rhythmic and sonic experimentation".[1] In 1978, they released their critically acclaimed debut album, The Scream, and built their reputation over the next few years through subsequent releases. With Juju in 1981, the group also became an important influence on the emerging gothic rock scene.[2] They disbanded in 1996, with Siouxsie and drummer Budgie continuing to record music as the Creatures, a second band they had formed in the early 1980s. In 2004, Siouxsie began a solo career.
The Times cited the group as "one of the most audacious and uncompromising musical adventurers of the post-punk era".[1] In 2006, Mojo rated guitarist John McGeoch in their list of "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time" for his work on "Spellbound".[3]

I've always felt the same about industrial groups (actual industrial, not the rock groups like NIN/KMFDM or 'EBM') - it's intentionally hard to listen to, and you miss out on a great deal if you don't get to actually see the performance... Kind of like only hearing the audio track to a movie. I've heard/read a lot about early Throbbing Gristle, COUM, SPK and the like and it just seems like the music itself is such a small component of what they actually did -
