   A single guy or girl is eligible to about 700 euros in Holland a couple gets 1200, if you have a kid you get 300 a month more, if your kid goes to higher education you get 600 more. Plus we don't have food stamps but every major city has a food bank which is a charity that gives about 70 euros worth of food per two people per week. That's almost 2k.

   if someone NEEDS assistance, and theyre worthy of it (ie, a productive member of society who tries to work and doesnt commit violent crimes) then they should get it. getting money for no reason is the complete opposite of 4 billion years of evolution
   
   ive seen too many non-whites paying for shit at the register with those EBT cards. a few years ago a non-white family-unit purchased an entire cart full of groceries with a government assistance check (before they switched to cards) then another cart completely full of christmas gifts which was paid for out of a wad of cash at least 2" in diameter. as a caveat, i didnt see what the bills were...they technically could have been all $1s...but that isnt the point

   I was the only one and it was the same job for 5 years. I helped and supported everyone and covered their rent with cash advances from my VISA and ran up 10k in my name while I descended into a life of meth abuse.
