And they are not shitposts!
Well, I'll readily admit that substantial minority of the posts I make really aren't worth reading, that they're about subjects or events that really aren't of interest to anyone other than myself, although I still feel the desire to share them. For example, that post I made about masturbating for 21 hours straight due to Nardil induced complete inorgasmia.
Others are just about various things I imagine and wonder about. "Malice, imaginer of worlds." For example, this post about perception, your own and that of others, the effects and implications: https://niggasin.space/thread/12585?p=82#post-211719
Actually, I just looked through my posts today and that was the only one with a length greater than a few short paragraphs. Everything else was on what most people would consider academic subjects. Well, I say "consider" due to disagreeing about the practical relevance, but with regard to the vast majority of people, commoners/low quality beings, and everyday life, mundane aspects of life/existence, they certainly would lack practical effects, value for them.
Hey, the subject is usually clear within a few sentences, if you aren't interested in matter such as Buddhism, Schopenhauer, and Einstein, don't read it. I understand feeling compelled to read every post, the cause of this, and feeling vexed by it, by people who regularly make multiple posts of considerable length that you aren't interested in, but this is irrational behavior. It's a product of (severe) OCD, or an isolated instance that effectively leads to OCD-mimetic behavior.
I identified and addressed this years ago. IIRC it was in TRT and I eventually became aggravated, even exasperated, by the constant posts about cars Muffins and Hab/Midnight Sun (I swear that guy had Asperger's) made, requesting that they create a thread specifically on the subject, which they didn't acquiesce to.
You know what I did? I changed my behavior. I consistently identified posts I had no interest in or didn't want to read for whatever reason and either skipped or glossed over them. There was absolutely no reason for me to read those posts and others that had the same qualities that lead to me bypassing the posts about vehicles. It wasn't relevant to me, didn't effect my understanding of threads I desired to read, the flow of conversation, there was no information in them I considered important.
So do what I did. It has a strong benefit. Don't simply utilize the skill to ignore posts I make, but for those made by anyone that warrant being ignored. Don't stop there, build the habit of avoiding junk food for the mind, learn the value of rational ignorance. Stop reading things that aren't important or valuable, such as reddit or youtube comments, shitty articles, items produced to elicit the same effect as clickbait, social media etc. Simplify your mind, your desires, and you free up enormous resources, are liberated from distractions, subjects that have a negative impact on you in a variety of manners. You'll have so much more time to focus on what's important to you. It's akin to ascending to a higher level, one above standard humanity.
Edit: Ah, an additional tip that didn't come to mind before submitting. Create a far stricted distinction in your mind between items experienced for pleasure and those for knowledge. Optimize your behavior with regard to entertainment as well.
For example, lists of "interesting" facts, the adjective and subject regularly varying, are a mixture of both. The quality of the information and writing and the level of pleasure/entertainment derived from it are both very poor.
Or youtube videos, social media. Are they truly consistently entertaining? On average, to what extent? No, there are various biological factors that also affect this behavior, such as natural and powerful human social behavior and Facebook, the desire or compulsion to use it.
Instead, save that time and devote it to something specifically devoted to either entertainment or pleasure, whichever you desire at the moment. For the former, select the highest quality material you can find/that you know of, what you truly enjoy the most.
Quantify, analyze, and optimize your life! Reap the multitude of enormous, profound, benefits!
Woah, fuck, I've been like this for 8 hours. Damn you flmodafinil!
On the flmodafinil (feel free to skip). Cut and paste from another post being produced:
Oy, I only received 2 hours of sleep and I noted before that I'm far more susceptible to the effects of sleep deprivation due to my neurological auti*stic/aspie makeup, the abnormalities/differences confirmed by empirical evidence. I succumb to the effects more rapidly than usual and need a bit more sleep/rest to be optimal. On 200mg of flmodafinil, which is about the equivalent of 200mg modafinil, to function and I'm about to make some tea. I'm going to fucking burn out.
-Damn, I've been so wrapped up in my obsessive interests I decided to delay an important task until Monday (Well, there's not necessarily any problem in delaying it. It's not even the type of thing you have to reschedule for.), and now it's also too late to pick up the sunglasses I ordered to modify to experiment with reading augmentation as well. I've also barely moved for hours and haven't done some household tasks, shaved and showered-brushed/flossed (cheeks, tongue, sublingual area, roof of mouth, and gums cleaned as well) or eaten. Well, afinils definitely tend to have this effect on many people.

2017-07-08 at 4:47 AM UTCDamn, even my explanation of why I'm making long posts was too long for you pitiful ADD riddled cognitive untermensch. What's your reading speed?! What's your reading speed?!
I also included valuable information about developing the skill to consistently ignore them and then going beyond and applying the same concept to other time sinks, the tangentially related highly important and valuable subject of rational ignorance, improving your ability to consistently and rapidly make judgments on what is truly important, what should be given (sequential) priority, the multitude of negative effects of common time sinks, and the benefits of surpassing this. At the very least, think about how much time could be liberated, which can be utilized for far more important and enjoyable matters.
The last segment was about flmodafinil, which I clearly noted and stated you could skip. -
