what about the vaccine spike proteins thing
-
2023-02-28 at 3:16 PM UTCit's right there in the other half of the sentence
we used a leaky vaccine to try to combat a mild virus, like we did with COVID
instead of killing the virus entirely it creates selection pressure, forcing the virus to evolve to defeat the partial immune response -

Except this hasn't happened with the covid vaccine...so no, not similar at all. -
2023-02-28 at 3:20 PM UTCnot yet retard, it takes time
that's why I said I wouldn't be surprised if it does happen, considering we've done the same things and expected a different result -

Um so you are assuming it's going to happen
Again, not similar at all.
The Flu vaccine has been around a long time now and due to the nature of viruses mutating sometimes it works well sometimes not so well...but the flu viruses in generally have NOT gotten worse due to the vaccine. -
2023-02-28 at 3:24 PM UTCAldra spreadin the misinformation like covid spreads in an unmasked society.
-
2023-02-28 at 3:25 PM UTCwe've created a similar scenario, ie. rolling leaky vaccines out to huge swathes of the population. we know that the virus is being tolerated and is mutating. whether ADE happens rapidly or not or whether it gets staved off somehow remains to be seen, I never said otherwise.
you can cope all you want, I don't really care for your whiny semantics games -

I understand your need to "fight back" when you are called out on your bullshit fantasies, it's fine

flu vaccines do not just target a single component of the influenza virus. -

2023-02-28 at 3:32 PM UTC"it's similar to something that hasn't actually happened yet"
-
2023-02-28 at 3:35 PM UTCare you actually retarded or something? try rereading the post a few times.
nobody's saying it's 100% going to result in highly lethal prevalent strains, only that it's possible because that has been the result when we rolled out similarly leaky vaccines in the past. -

-
2023-02-28 at 3:39 PM UTCit's probably not even wrong to say that it's likely because we have evidence that the virus is mutating rapidly and that due to relentless booster campaigns, many people are incubating the virus rather than fighting it. the real question is whether the virus will become more lethal over time, rather than just more virulent or hardy.

Your chicken wing example is 100% detached from reality.
What you did do what take an apple and say it's similar to an imaginary pear.
this is just your usual squatting down with your pants off, then someone walks in and asks why you're shitting on the floor
"how do you know it's shit it isn't even out yet" -

This is your usual "oh someone called me out on my imagined bullshit"
Let me help you out...
"It COULD EVENTUALLY BE SIMILAR TO ..this chicken dinner thing
rather than
"IT'S SIMILAR TO..this chicken dinner thing
That's not semantics...there is a fundemental difference is claiming something is the case vs claiming something MIGHT happen in the future. -
2023-02-28 at 3:45 PM UTCnow that you understand the difference, go back and reread and you should be able to absorb the information without arguing.
as I said, the scenario is that we've created similar circumstances, nobody has made the claim that the result will necessarily be the same. -
2023-02-28 at 3:47 PM UTCAids/HIV is a good example of how suggesting how things are going to be in the future..didn't match reality.
We were told in the 80s a HUGE portion of the population would be dead or infected with AIDS by the year 2000.
...2000 was a generation ago now and AIDS is downgraded to a "chronic disease".
...because research didn't stop at the first drug they developed. -

that's because we didn't roll out a drug that exacerbated the problem (see: AZT) to everyone as a preventative measure (which Fauci, who was in charge of that epidemic too, actually wanted to do, lol)
