I remember when I was a kid I predicted 3 videos that were coming on, on The Box ...
The Box was a music channel...you call in on your phone and punch in the 3 numbers next to the video you want to see...and you could actually see it on the tv screen as you pressed it in your phone...
So every video you watched was requested by someone..it was 2.99 a video I think..

But ya..I remember predicting 3 videos in a row.. would have gotten 4 if I didn't get excited and it threw me off ..
Same thing happened with free throws in gym class...I remember we were doing free throws in gym *softly ashes spliff* and I made it to 3 ..the only one in class... and if I made the 4th one I'd have gotten some kinda surprise ..but I got excited and it threw me off and I didn't make the 4th free throw....
One time...I called the box and ran it up to like 60.00 on the phone bill and my parents asked about it and I said it was my big brother who had moved out but still visited and called The Box sometimes...
I was so scared they were gonna ask him and I get found out ..but nothing ever happened...I'm 38 and still wonder how I got away with that ...
My cousins and I could make fun out of literally nothing at all .. everything was just so hilarious to us ..we did stuff just to get people to laugh at us....
Our granny had a huge closet with nothing but 70s clothes..and those clothes used to be so funny looking to us .. probably amazing pieces looking back now...
But we'd do fashion shows and each person went in the closet one at a time..and came out with the most outrageous outfit and we'd all laugh hysterically ....
And couch cushions...man couch cushions were horses...but we always put them back when we were done..real messed up tho so they'd still know what we had been up toπ
Then we got older ..we thought we were dare devil's...we'd be at my auntie house on the west side... where the apt buildings are really close together...and we'd climb up the fire escape to the top of the buildings and just jump from roof to roof...

One day we got caught and we were tryna hide and the only way out was a long drop...we did it tho...I was scared as hell but I was more scared of my auntie knowing I was one of the ones up there...
This is one beautiful memory of my cousin who passed away ...she was always extremely protective over me and treated me like a sister...we were 7 months apart and named after each other ...planned out to be best friends from the womb...we shared the same initials...
One day it was summer at my granny house and i was doing the dishes...i was alone and i was singing a song by Brandi..called Broken hearted .. I wasn't sad ..it was just a 90s bop...
And as i was singing it ...she came in the kitchen out of nowhere and started singing it with me...
And i just looked up and was so surprised because i honestly didn't know she could sing too...
And we hadn't seen each other in a while...and after we sang it she just like hai cousin and hugged me...
She had a beautiful voice...and she was so fuqn funny π
