I tried to introduce this sort of training both in jails and in prison certian times but only veryf ew of them had the discipline for it and could throw the ego to the side for it without trying to win everytime (sort of like how most Polaks are like that guy with the water shoes who hangs out now with teenagers at the park in warsaw near agrykola with the fake swords he claims to teach and also claims to be a nationalist and is a weirdo possibly molester):
It is hard to be able to practice without the other person either getting pissed in prison or wanting to win due to ego instead of mutual learning techniques like you see above and practicing one's weaknesses and without even turning it into a fight or becoming enraged due to them being heavy drug users from the streets.
the thing is clinch training or light sparring with say socks in hands or even hitting books as pads really relieves the stress and tension. I found finally an asian guy who called me sensei or master and we would train like this at the ice center. He is still on my facebook.
prison was good for introspection, a lot of time on one's hands to think of martial arts or techniques and practice whenever i could find someone, artwork, developing art skills, introspecting of thy self or meditation and yoga poses or stretches. I never became like them or would do their workouts or group workouts they did gang style or any of that shit. Especially with the yelling or all of that shit or those stupid cards they needed to keep themselves motivated.
