A fool is he who is a doctor but has himself as the patient. So it is with an offensive strategist, thinking of a defensive strategy. The Prince must take council wisely in matters of war as they are matters of health quite similarly.

Unless you're the only doctor on an expedition at the North Pole and you have a ruptured appendix. Then its ok to be a doctor and a patient at the same time.
