   You guys realize I dont actually believe this. it was an old joke years back. lemongrass is sour because dogs pissed on it. probably a silly local urban myth of thats how its grown.

   That would make no sense for a commercial industrial product to rely on something so uncommon and specific. What usually happens is they find a cheap alternative to the real thing and people will complain that they want the real dog piss back because it's not the same as this synthetic stuff.

   toxin in any small doses can be beneficial. its toxic in high doses that are bad. toxic and poison is two separate things. but not small. minus the chemicals and tar in cigarettes they would in fact be beneficial in keeping weight down and giving energy.
   
   same with caffeine. peppers are also related to nightshade families. and somehow Potatoes are as well (not sure how they can be, i think they're a root of the plant that is known to be toxic. when a potato eye sprouts, the potato becomes toxic.
