   It stays good for many months.
   In fact this jug is already a few weeks old when I snapped this picture and I went to Krogers and checked and the rest of this kind of milk has similar expiration dates well into next year.

   if it doesnt spoil then it isnt food.
   
   just get condensed or evaporated milk, it wont expire while it remains in the can and you can make like two jugs out of one small can.
